about

this album was made by Kit and Alex in July of 2008. about a year after Kit's old band "the Inkwell Rhythm Makers" broke up.

the whole album was made before we had folks to play with on the regular.
so through the low tech magic of multi-tracking we made the band we wanted with just two people.
we hand made all the copies and sold them at our gigs and while busking.

... also randomly, it was this album that wound up in the hands of Maria Muldaur who had us record on her Garden of Joy jug band record with John Sebastian, Dan Hicks, and David Grisman. it wound up being nominated for a Grammy and we ended up touring with her for a few months.
I found some good 78's on that trip too.
